We went to a magical wonderland for the night, canoeing to an off-grid island and soaking up some of mother nature’s finest! Sharing some pics if you’d like a peek. We’re going back for a few nights next month and I’ll share some backcountry vegan camping tips then. This was just one night so we didn’t bother to bring our camp stove, just relied on some vegan staples (hummus, peanut butter, granola, soymilk, sourdough, fruits and veggies, chickpea flour pancakes with radish greens, you know, the usual 😉). Pics: 1️⃣ lunch at our midway point, Jug Beach. 2️⃣ loaded canoe 3️⃣ learning to paddle 4️⃣ our tent in the middle of nowhere! How amazing is that?! 5️⃣ morning views from our tent 6️⃣ climbing 7️⃣ climbing 8️⃣ inspecting 9️⃣ inspecting 🔟 granola and soymilk for brekkie in a patch of moss 😍 #offthegrid #vegancamping #whatvegansdo #whatveganfamiliesdo #veganfamily #vegankids #getoutside #playoutside #explorebc #explorepnw #pnwonderland #pnwlife #bccamping #camping #backcountrycamping #backcountrycampingwithkids
